Logitech Harmony 900 lets you put your home-entertainment equipment behind walls or cabinet doors using RF (radio frequency) technology. Just place the simple-to-install IR blaster and mini blasters near the equipment you want to control to turn RF signals into IR commands your devices understand. Once you’re set up, the full-color touch screen lets you see only the controls you need and start your entertainment with just one touch. You can replace up to 15 other remotes. And our software finds the control codes for your equipment from our online database of more than 5,000 brands and 225,000 devices. So chances are, if you own it, your Harmony 900 can control it.

It does work. I wish there was a way to name your customized activities instead of a generic name which just add a number at the end. Or is there?

However, no matter how good this remote could be, and it is not that good, it is not worth over $200. Paying $280 for a remote control that does not make you coffee is completely insane. I would like to buy two more for my bedrooms but I will not pay that price, ever again.

This remote is well worth about $150.
This is an awesome remote. I owned 880 before but needed something with RF capability as I moved all my AV components inside the closet. I have a Sony home theater system, panasonic tV, Patriot Box office, HDMI Switch and xbox. I was able to program each of the components with ease. I am even able to conrol my HDMI swith with this which I wasn't sure of at the time of buying. I reallly like the feature of adding soft buttons on the screen. RF blasters work perfectly. Sometimes there is a little lag especially when remote wakes up from the sleep mode. I would highly recommend this remote to anyone. Its the best one out there with RF capability. Go for it !!
I purchased this remote on the recommendation of the TV installation technicians. We wanted a wireless remote that would operate our components hidden in our cabinets. The technicians set up the remote and instructed us on its use. I think it would have been too complicated for myself or my husband to program ourselves, however. The initial use of the remote was a bit intimidating but we are now very comfortable with it. I did use the telephone help line for assistance with an issue and the technician was very helpful in talking me through the solution. Manufacturer assistance is available free for the first 90 days.
